Common questions

How do I create my Lixa account?
Go to dashboard.html?view=register and sign up with your email address or continue with Google. You'll receive a confirmation email — click the link to verify and you're in.
What should I do first after signing up?
Head straight to the Auditor tab in your dashboard. Paste any live business website URL and run your first scan. The result comes back in under a second — you'll see a pain score and the key issues found. From there, explore the Leads tab to browse pre-scored businesses.
Is there a guide or tutorial?
Yes — the full quickstart guide in the documentation walks you through your first audit, how scoring works, and how to use the lead database and email composer. It takes about 5 minutes to read.
Can I use Lixa without signing up?
No — an account is required to use the platform. You can sign up in under a minute at the registration page. Every paid plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee so there's no risk.
What browsers are supported?
Lixa works on all modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend Chrome or Safari for the best experience. The dashboard is also mobile-responsive for on-the-go use.
What does an audit actually check?
Lixa audits check visible website quality signals — page load speed, mobile responsiveness, HTTPS / trust indicators, CTA strength, content clarity, and conversion friction. It's designed to surface issues that matter in a sales conversation, not just technical metrics.
What is the pain score?
The pain score (0–100) estimates how badly a website's visible issues are commercially impacting the business. 70+ means the site has serious, clearly visible problems — strong outreach target. 40–70 is medium opportunity. Under 40 is low priority.
How long does an audit take?
Most audits complete in under 1 second. Lixa is deployed on Cloudflare's global edge network, so response times are consistently fast. If a target website is very slow to load, the audit may take a few seconds longer.
Can I audit any website?
You can audit any publicly accessible live website. Paste the full URL (including https://) into the Auditor tab. Sites behind authentication, VPNs, or that block crawlers may return limited results.
Why did an audit return limited results?
Some websites actively block automated access or take too long to respond. This can result in limited signal data. Try auditing the homepage directly, or check the URL is correct and the site is live.
How are audit results saved?
All audit results are automatically saved to your dashboard in the Auditor tab. You can revisit, share, and build reports from any saved audit. Pro and Scale plans retain full history indefinitely.
How do I generate a report from an audit?
Open any saved audit in your dashboard and click "Generate report". The report translates technical findings into plain business language, ready to share with a prospect. PDF export is available on Pro and Scale plans.
What is the lead database?
The lead database contains 5,000+ UK businesses, each with a pre-calculated website quality score, sector classification, and contact data. Browse and filter from the Leads tab in your dashboard to find your best prospecting targets.
How do I filter leads?
Use the filter tools in the Leads tab to narrow by sector, pain score range, website type, and opportunity level. Pro plans unlock advanced filters including region and revenue estimate ranges.
What is the email composer?
The AI email composer (Pro and Scale) takes your audit findings and generates a first-draft outreach email — structured around the most impactful issue found, with a clear business angle. Edit, personalise, and send from inside Lixa.
How should I frame audit findings in outreach?
Lead with one clear issue and its business impact. For example: "I noticed your site takes 7 seconds to load on mobile — that likely means 35–40% of visitors are leaving before your page appears." Evidence-first, outcome-focused outreach gets significantly better replies than generic pitching.
Can I add my own leads?
Yes — you can audit any URL through the Auditor tab regardless of whether it's in the lead database. Use the Leads tab for pre-qualified discovery, and the Auditor for auditing specific targets you find elsewhere.
How does billing work?
Lixa plans are billed monthly by default. Payment is taken at the start of each billing cycle. You can cancel at any time and your plan remains active until the end of the current period. All billing is handled securely via Stripe.
How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Go to Settings inside your dashboard and click "Change plan". Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Where can I find my invoices?
Invoices are generated automatically and available in your dashboard under Settings > Billing. Each invoice is also emailed to your registered address.
Is there a money-back guarantee?

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express via Stripe. Bank transfer is available for annual Scale plans. Email sales@studiolixa.com for bank transfer invoicing.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot password" on the login page. We'll send a secure reset link to your registered email address. The link expires after 60 minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a minute.
How do I change my email address?
Email changes can be made from inside the dashboard under Settings > Account. You'll receive a verification email at the new address to confirm the change.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, email hello@studiolixa.com with your registered email address. We'll process the request within 2 business days and confirm deletion by email.
Can I have multiple team members on one account?
Team management is available on the Scale plan. You can invite team members, assign roles, and manage shared templates and lead lists from the Admin tab inside the dashboard.
What technology does Lixa run on?
Lixa is deployed on Cloudflare Workers at the edge, with D1 for data storage. This means global performance, 99.9%+ uptime, and sub-second audit response times regardless of where you or your target website is located.
Is there an API?
Yes — the Lixa API gives programmatic access to scans, scoring, and lead data. Available on the Scale plan. Full documentation at lixa-api.html.
What are the API rate limits?
API rate limits are tied to your plan's daily audit allowance. Starter: 10 requests/day. Pro: 50/day. Scale: configurable based on your agreement. Limits reset at midnight UTC. Bulk endpoints allow up to 100 URLs per batch.
How do I report a bug?
Email hello@studiolixa.com with a description of the issue, your browser version, and a screenshot if possible. We take all bug reports seriously and aim to respond within 1 business day.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
